We are recruiting a General Manager for an exciting new high-end café concept launching in Knightsbridge, London. This is not a standard café role. This is a design-led, culturally driven hospitality concept combining specialty coffee, artisan food, immersive interiors, and creative programming. As General Manager, you will take full ownership of the business from day one — leading the team, driving commercial performance, and delivering an exceptional guest experience in one of London’s most prestigious locations.

The Role:

  • Take full ownership and accountability for the site.
  • Lead by example on the floor as a visible and inspiring presence.
  • Oversee all daily café operations (coffee bar, floor, kitchen, events).
  • Recruit, train, and develop the opening team.
  • Drive sales performance and manage labour, cost control, and waste.
  • Ensure smooth service during high footfall periods.
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences and build customer loyalty.
  • Support and execute events and cultural programming.
  • Maintain high standards of compliance, food safety, and health & safety.
  • You will be trusted to operate the business as your own.

 

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 3 years’ leadership experience within high-end cafés, premium hospitality brands, or concept venues.
  • Strong knowledge of specialty coffee and café operations.
  • Experience opening new sites.
  • Proven ability to recruit, develop, and motivate teams.
  • Commercially aware — confident managing KPIs and sales targets
  • A natural host with strong guest-facing and communication skills
  • Calm under pressure, structured, and solutions-focused
  • Passionate about hospitality, culture, and high standards
